Laboratory Design Architect
Description
We are seeking an experienced architect specialized in laboratory design to support the planning, modeling, and delivery of functional, compliant, and efficient lab environments. This role requires strong technical knowledge, attention to detail, and close collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop architectural solutions for laboratory facilities, including research, clinical, educational, and industrial labs.
- Create detailed architectural drawings and BIM models using tools such as Revit and AutoCAD.
- Plan lab layouts considering workflows, safety, equipment integration, and regulatory requirements.
- Coordinate with engineers, consultants, and stakeholders to integrate architectural and technical systems.
- Ensure compliance with applicable codes, standards, and best practices for laboratory design.
- Participate in design reviews, technical meetings, and project documentation across all project phases.
Minimum requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture.
- Proven experience in laboratory design and architectural modeling.
- Strong proficiency in BIM and CAD tools (Revit, AutoCAD).
- Solid understanding of laboratory standards, safety requirements, and technical constraints.
- Ability to produce and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Upper Intermediate or Advanced English proficiency.
A Great Plus
- Previous professional experience working on projects in the U.S. or Canada.
