Grasshopper Engineer
Description
We are looking for a highly skilled Structural or Civil Engineer with a strong background in parametric design and automation. The ideal candidate will leverage Grasshopper to streamline complex workflows, optimize structural geometries, and enhance our engineering delivery. You will work on cutting-edge projects where geometry and engineering logic meet.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain complex Grasshopper definitions for structural analysis and geometric optimization.
- Automate repetitive engineering tasks and data exchange between platforms (e.g., Rhino, Revit, SAP2000)
- Collaborate with architects and design teams to translate complex architectural forms into buildable structural systems.
- Perform structural calculations and documentation in compliance with international standards.
- Troubleshoot and refine existing scripts to improve computational efficiency.
Minimum requirements
Requirements & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related field (Completed studies are mandatory).
- A minimum of 4–5 years of professional experience in engineering roles.
- Expert-level proficiency in Grasshopper is essential.
- English proficiency at an Upper-Intermediate (B2) or Advanced (C1/C2) level. You must be able to communicate technical concepts clearly in an international environment.
- Strong understanding of structural mechanics, materials, and geometry.
Nice to Have:
- Prior experience working with US building codes is a significant advantage but not a requirement.
