What you'll do:

  • Working with clients to create detailed models based on their needs, including identifying project goals, objectives, and constraints
  • Developing construction drawings and other design documents
  • Communicating with architects, engineers, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure all parties are on the same page
  • Coordinating with other members of the BIM team to ensure that all components of the model are up to date
  • Creating 3D models of buildings using computer aided design (CAD) software such as AutoCAD or Revit
  • Creating 2D drawings of building elements such as walls, columns, windows, doors, plumbing, electrical fixtures, etc. from a 3D model
  • Creating 3D models of building components such as structural supports, stairs, railings, and columns
  • Developing drawings to show how construction will take place based on the design provided by architects or engineers (Construction Documents)
  • Using other specialized computer applications to create virtual models of buildings and other structures

Minimum requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree or Master’s Degree in Architecture or equivalent field of study.
  • 3+ Years’ experience in BIM, 3D modeling, construction technology, or related field.
  • Superior knowledge of BIM technologies with an understanding of the direction of building information modeling and its impact on the AEC industry
  • Superior knowledge of Revit, AutoCAD, and other design technologies with direct experience using prior and current versions
  • Strong organization, multi-tasking and time management skills;
  • Strong design, graphic, and presentation skills
  • Excellent communication skills and a strong team ethic
  • Ability to self-manage project assignments from start to finish with oversight.
  • Advanced level of English
  • Previous experience working for the US is a plus
  • Fully committed and self-driven
