ADUs Architect

Description

We are looking for talented Architects specializing in ADUs to join our team. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in designing and planning Accessory Dwelling Units, creating innovative solutions that comply with zoning regulations and reflect modern architectural standards.


You will get the chance to:

  • Develop creative and functional designs for ADUs, ensuring compliance with building codes and sustainability principles.
  • Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and refine design concepts.
  • Oversee projects from initial concept to final construction, coordinating with contractors and stakeholders.
  • Prepare detailed architectural drawings, renderings, and documentation for permitting and construction.
  • Stay informed on industry trends, local ADU regulations, and sustainable design practices.
  • Provide accurate project cost estimates and manage budgets effectively.

Minimum requirements

What you must bring to the table:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture or a related field.
  • +5 years of professional experience in residential architecture, with a focus on ADUs or small-scale structures.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, or other architectural design software.
  • Strong knowledge of zoning laws, building codes, and sustainable building practices.
  • Advanced English communication and presentation skills.


A Great Plus:

  • Experience working in regions with high ADU demand, such as California.
  • Familiarity with prefabricated or modular construction methods.
