Acoustics Engineer (proficient in Rhino)

Description

We are seeking a skilled Acoustic Engineer with strong technical expertise in 3D modeling using Rhinoceros (Rhino) to support the design, analysis, and implementation of advanced acoustic solutions. The ideal candidate will combine a deep understanding of acoustics with proficiency in digital modeling and a collaborative mindset to contribute to multidisciplinary projects in architecture and engineering.


You'll get the chance to:

  • Develop and analyze 3D acoustic models using Rhinoceros.
  • Evaluate and optimize the acoustic performance of architectural, industrial, or urban environments.
  • Collaborate with architecture, engineering, and construction teams to integrate acoustic strategies into project designs.
  • Produce technical documentation, acoustic reports, and detailed design drawings.
  • Conduct site inspections to assess and verify acoustic conditions.
  • Stay informed on current standards, regulations, and best practices in acoustics.

Minimum requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Acoustic Engineering, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in acoustic design or consulting.
  • Proficiency in Rhinoceros 3D (experience with Grasshopper or other parametric tools is an advantage).
  • Experience in cost estimation or budgeting within acoustic or construction projects.
  • Upper Intermediate to advanced proficiency in English for technical communication.
